Conversation in the car on the way home from school yesterday:

Mom: "Lauren, I need to find a new job."
Lolly: " Why Mom? You don't like your job?"
Mom: "No, I love my job but I wish it paid me more money."
Lolly: (analyzing) "If you clean my room, I will pay you $1."
Mom: (smiling) "You will pay me $1 if I clean your room?"
Lolly: "And I might even help you a little."

I just got the call today that Lauren is going to Fremont Elementary's All Day Kindergarten. It is a public school but better than our neighborhood school. My little baby is growing up. It is making me all weepy (go figure).

Flying out into the wild blue yonder...

Over the weekend I had to fly to Omaha to visit my family because of we had a memorial service for my uncle Mark. It was a nice service and I was very happy to visit family. I didn't take very many pictures but I will get some from Sara to post. This is the picture I took from the plane window on the way home. I am not the greatest flyer, especially when I have to fly by myself.

I am sorry if I didn't get a chance to visit with anyone (Angie/Nicki) but I was in and out.
